More Than 100 Southern Cameroonians Killed By Cameroon Soldiers On Sunday October 1st, 2017

A report released by the Network of Human Right Protection in Central Africa (REDHAC); revealed that more than 100 Southern Cameroonians were killed on Oct. 1, 2017.Their report clearly state that over 100 people died of gunshot and tear gas on Oct. 1, 2017.

REDHAC strongly condemns the abuse of human rights and serious crimes being carried out on the people of the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. REDHAC also condemned Issa Tchiroma's press outings and sarcastic name calling on  Southern Cameroonians, calling on International bodies to take note of everything.

As a reminder, 1st October, 2017 was the day set aside by the Southern Cameroonians for the celebration of their separation from French Cameroon (whom they regard as their oppressor).

Prior to 1st October an information had been circulating in the social media that the outlawed Southern Cameroon flag (AKA the Ambazonian flag) will be hoisted in the cities and villages of the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon as a symbol of the secession. In order to prevent that from happening, the Government of Cameroon deploy large number of Troops in Southern Cameroon. Despite the presence of a large number of Troops, some southern Cameroonians still went on to hoist the Ambazonian flag and they were shot by the dehumanized Cameroon soldiers. More than 100 Southern Cameroonians were killed on October 1st,2017.
